[ the measly 30 woolongs draws an underwhelmed sigh. even she had more than that---well, she did, earlier that day. that’s when it dawns on faye that she's wasted not only her time but almost an entire fuel rod of which she spent most of her 33 woolongs on. all for chump change, a picture of a woman she doesn’t recognize, and… vouchers? she’s tuned out most of dandy’s yammering by this point but for one reason or another she catches the last sentence with perfect clarity. ]
